FDA chief stepping down

FDA chief stepping down-politicopro: FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg, who has overseen food and drug safety for nearly six years, will leave at the end of March, she announced in an email to agency staff Thursday morning.  Stephen Ostroff, the FDA’s chief scientist, will be acting commissioner when Hamburg steps down, her email said.
