CMS Will Consider Disclosing Physician Pay Information Case-By-Case-thegraysheet: The new policy, scheduled to take effect March 18, follows on the heels of efforts made by CMS last year to make more data available to the public. In May, CMS released information on the average charges for the 100 most common inpatient services at more than 3,000 hospitals nationwide.
