Reforming the F.D.A. - New York Times: "The New York Times praises a Senate bill that would step up FDA oversight of postmarketing adverse drug effects but criticizes its dependency on user fees. The newspaper said in an editorial the FDA is becoming increasingly dependent on fees from the industries it regulates and urged reauthorizing the fees for just two years instead of five while it finds another solution."
