Regulators want Abbott factory to be fixed faster - Chicago Tribune: "The Food and Drug Administration wants Abbott Laboratories to move faster on fixing quality-control problems the regulatory agency identified last year at a Texas production facility. The regulatory agency is 'not satisfied' with the North Chicago-based company's progress in correcting 'recurring' shortcomings FDA inspectors identified four months ago, according to a March 13 letter from the FDA to Abbott Chairman and Chief Executive Miles White."
