CORNYN: SENATE COULD USE MED DEVICE TAX REPEAL FOR KING

CORNYN: SENATE COULD USE MED DEVICE TAX REPEAL FOR KING-politico: The Senate is teeing up a vote on the medical device tax repeal bill that the House passed last week — and Sen. John Cornyn suggested Tuesday that the legislation could act as a vehicle for his chamber's response to a ruling in the King case. "If that one bill came to the floor, then anybody could offer any other suggestion they'd want about Obamacare," he told POLITICO. "I would suggest to you that we're going to have a big debate about that in connection with King v. Burwell." Earlier this week, Senate leadership began the process to allow the House's medical device tax repeal bill to bypass committee consideration and head straight to the floor.
